Newest Painting - Constance
This little gal is based on a sketch I did years ago. I've wanted to put her on canvas for a while...and here she is. I kind of love her sweet shyness.
This painting is 10" x 10" on a gallery wrapped canvas. She's available in MY ETSY SHOP now. UPDATE: Constance has SOLD

Quote People - Sarah
So even without any sort of world summit or discussion, we, as adults, all know when we tell a kid "5 more minutes", we actually mean "I'm going to talk to my friend for like 30 more minutes because you can't tell time". Am I right?
My friend Sarah came over the other night and we must have told her little cutie Patrick "5 more minutes" at least 7 times. (At one point I think he even said, "Mom, isn't it like, my bedtime or something?!?")

Bullet Journal Pages 167 WIP - A Face a Day In May
I'll be adding 30 more faces to this page this month. It's gonna get crowded up in here. I did A Face a Day last July and I've done other Mays full of faces. So I'm excited to do it again. Plus I never need an excuse to draw faces!

Bullet Journal Pages 60-61 COMPLETED And the Next Challenge Begins
I've been working on these pages all month and they're finally complete. What a fun challenge.
For August, I decided to do a lettering challenge. Each day I'll write a different place I've been or travelled to. So at the end of the month I should have a page full of lettering and also a bit of my own personal history on the page.

Here's what I have so far for my July challenge. My goal is get at least one man drawn on the page. But honestly, I prefer drawing women. More variety in the hair, jewelry, and outfits. So we'll see...

Illustration Friday - Ink
I always have little lined notebooks that I like to draw faces in. It's been a while since I worked in this particular book. I've been focusing mostly on my Art Journal.
It was fun to pull out this book and the necessary supplies and visit some of the past faces too. This little lady is a combo of ink, Prisma colored pencils, and paint. I wanted her to have an old time circus feel.

IF - Paper
Much as I love working on canvas and wood, I always come back to paper. I love drawing on, painting on, and doing piece work with paper. Love it!
I have an artist friend that despises working on lined paper. It drives her crazy. Not me. Doesn't bother me at all.
