Inspire Me Thursday - Albert Einstein

"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
---Albert Einstein

This painting was a WHOLE series of happy mistakes/accidents that ended in one of my favorite paintings ever.

IF - Pretend

The theme for Illustration Friday this week is Pretend.

Today in Las Cruces it was in the 70's so we sort of have to pretend that the weather outside is firghtful.

I am not complaining!! I love a put the top down, wear short sleeves, let's BBQ outside type of Christmas. :)

Santa Signs

The first one I listed in my bumblebina ETSY shop, sold right away and led to an order from the buyer for 4 more to give as gifts. I'll be shipping these off tomorrow.

While I worked on those I did another one for the ETSY shop. This one is quite large--4" x 11" plus the handle and is just too cute. It's available now on ETSY. And, no, the number isn't correct. It's 42 more days actually. :)

IF - Wise

The weather is finally starting to turn a little chilly--for Southern New Mexico. I have to add that because yesterday on a field trip with my daughter I was FREEZING. I had gloves and a scarf on. When I got out to the car, the temperature said 60 degrees. In my defense, it was quite windy. :) I have definately become a weather wimp.

But as it turns colder, thoughts turn towards the holidays. One of my favorite Christmas phrases: Wise Men Still Seek Him
