Art Journal Page 7/22/11 - 2 See You Smile

I recently came across my GIANT box of cassette tapes from middle school and high school. I still have one place to play them--in my car. I got rid of most of them but there was one song from HS that I just loved. I've been cranking it in my car ever since I un-earthed the tape. These words are part of the chorus to that song.

It's become a bit of an obsession for me!

This is a perennial struggle for me. I love living in the Southwest for the most part. But during the summer--the blazing hot, arid, sweaty summer--I dream about water and trees and flowers and being anywhere but here.
