Just listed these three today in my ETSY store. Aren't they fun? I've included the second picture so you can get an idea of the size. They're mini!

New Folk Paintings Listed on ETSY
The sun finally came out and I got some paintings photographed. These are all available in my ETSY store right now...SOLD. Am I in the Valentine's spirit or what?
The top three are little mini ones. They are 3.25" x 3". The Tree of Hearts is 7" x 3". And the last one is 4.25" x 6".

Some New Paintings in Progress
Still no sun today, which is sort of strange for the desert, but what are you gonna do? So I didn't get to photograph my finished paintings. But I did get some work done on these two:
Got the swirling purple background painted on this one and then painted the stem and glued on the flower and vase. Just needs some highlights and shadows with paint and it should be done.

This one is so in the scary phase. Above is a picture of the placement of all the collage elements. Below is where the painting is currently--still scary--but with a fun pink background and all the elements glued down. Oh and her lovely golden locks too. She still needs quite a bit or work but I'm real excited about her so far!

Back in the Studio
Things have finally settled down enough for me to get back into the studio and do some painting. I just don't feel like myself if I'm not painting. Here's a tiny preview on a few of the paintings I've been working on. These little cuties are about 3"x3" each. Isn't there just something about cupcakes? I love everything about them--how they look, how they taste, everything!
Not the best photo of them as I took it inside with a flash. I hope to get better pics tomorrow of all the paintings I've been working on. I also recently completed several really fun Valentine's paintings. If the sun is out tomorrow, I'll get some better pictures and post them after that!

Mud Wall Designs on ETSY
My friend Mindy has recently opened a shop on ETSY called Mud Wall Designs. She sells these amazing paper cranes. They are so delicate and beautiful, I just had to share them!

Fun Valentines Items on E-bay and ETSY
I Just Love Clipboards
I can't stop making them. You'd think after making 45 for church, I'd be sick of them. But new ideas just keep coming to me! Here are some that are currently available on ETSY.
Isn't this set cute? And so itty bitty!! Each one is 2.5" x 1.75".
This one is a little larger (5" x 3") and oh so sophisticated with this pastoral English toille print.

Work In Progress - Any Suggestions?
I started this painting before Christmas and then thing got so crazy. Well, I'm finally back in the studio. I LOVE the softness of this piece, but still feel that it might be missing something. Any suggestions? I've thought of maybe putting a small word in each square (love, inspire, be, create, etc.). Is that too hokey? Or what about making the lines between the squares more pronounced? Or maybe it's done?
HELP! I need suggestions--leave me a comment or e-mail me.
(I do love the lightness and softness of this painting, but that which I love also makes it quite hard to photograph. So I've put a few pictures here so you can get a pretty good idea although it's much more striking in person!)
