Jane always thought so. If someone wasn't going to ask her to dance, well by golly, she'd adapt to the situation and ask someone herself!

My 7 year old daughter has been wanting to practice her knitting on big needles. She thought that would be easier to control than the size 9’s I started her on. So I took her to my yarn cabinet, hoping to sway her towards something bulky and cheap. She went right for the Cascade Magnum. It’s bulky, but it ain’t cheap! :) I had just a tiny bit left over from a previous knitting project so she set to work on her big needles (size 17's).She knitted the whole thing herself with just a few questions here and there. Then for the finishing, she chose EVERYTHING–the lining fabric, the flower, the button–everything. And I must say, I think it’s absolutely adorable!!
It’s the perfect size for a (fake) cell phone and a lip gloss or 4 lip glosses. This is according to the proud creator of the purse. She LOVES it. :)
And these Cottage Cupcakes are my most recent paintings. They are sort of the altered ancestors of the first set of cupcakes. I think it's sort of interesting to see the way my work is evolving. My hope, as an artist and as an individual, it to always be growing, learning and changing.
This little guy has been through a lot. He's a tough little warrior though.
Now this is all pretty hush, hush, but at one time Barbie had a little "thing" with Oscar (that's right, THE grouch). Garbie here is their love child. This is the secret Barbie doesn't want anyone to know.
Poor Garbie--he's not welcome in the Dream House and he really doesn't fit in on the Street (Sesame, that is). Won't you give him a good home?
This is my entry for the Nibblefest Art Contest for May on e-bay. The theme this month is "The Secret Life of Toys". Shhhh, don't tell Barbie's dirty little secret. :)

I knew I'd find a good use for this luscious fabric. It makes the perfect liner to this little clutch.
Aren't they an attractive couple? They are listed separately, but I think there is some chemistry there between them.

And this sign is to add to some connected signs I made a few months ago. This is a new addition to the family.

This was a gift for a friend's baby shower last night. I can finally post about it now that's it's out the door and in it's new home. This fun little set has been making me smile all week. The hat is from a pattern in Susan Anderson's Itty Bitty Hats. And I just had to make socks to match!
