The Watermelon Bag

I added some ribbon accents to the handle and now this little sweetie is in my bumblebina ETSY shop. (Update: bag has SOLD)

I love this bag so much, I'm working on another watermelon themed bag....photos to come.

Name Signs

The first two went in the mail today.

This pink/lime/burgundy/green color scheme is becoming my most popular!

And this sign was made to match this fabric.

And this sweet little Thank You card is from my daughter's friend. I just love the little drawing she did of her name sign. It makes me happy!!!

I Can't Stop!

My daughter requested the brown one and then I saw a tiny ball of white scrap yarn in my scrap drawer and thought, "You could become a Hamsterbean!"

I really can't stop making these funny little things. I may have to join a support group.

All Things Squishy

My daughter's friend had a birthday this week. She has a pet hamster. When I saw this pattern, I knew I had to knit her one of these little Hamsterbeans.

When the kids saw him, they each requested one.

My son wanted a red one with brown ears--there is no room for pink in his world.

Then I decided to experiment. I did one with fun fur. I thought the kids would think it was silly--especially since you can't even see his eyes. But they LOVE it. They even fought over who gets to keep it. So I may be knitting up another fur ball with eyes (really they are in there!).


And then a project just for me...This sweet little (7" x 10") pillow was a bit of stress relief knitting just for me. The yarn is Araucania Nature Cotton and it's GORGEOUS. The color is so vibrant. I did the flowers with bits of fabric and tulle. Very sweet and feminine.

Teacher Name Signs

And I just had to show this little sweetie that my daughter and I made together. Totally her idea to do the beads on the wire hanger. LOVE that. May be a new thing I add to my signs...

It's summertime. Time to let the days idly pass by. And that's just what Georgia and Miss Kitty plan to do...poolside...with a beverage...and a good book.

Wedding Gift Painting

This is a wedding gift for a sweet friend who just got married. I have so much fun doing these little houses!

Bunny Nuggets

These little cuties will be hitting the road with me as I go visit family. Each will be left with a sweet little girl as I visit them. And for the boys? Some soon-to-be-knit aliens will be left behind for them.
